Where is the cheapest place in Europe to play golf?
The cheapest single green fee and the cheapest golf week are not the same thing. Compare both before you book.
The lowest single green fees in Europe are usually found in Bulgaria, Poland, Cyprus and off-peak Portugal, from around €40–€80. For the total cost of a golf week, Belek in Turkey is often the best value, because all-inclusive hotels, short transfers and volume-priced tee times bring the package price down.
| Destination | Typical green fee | Golf-week value |
|---|---|---|
| Belek, Turkey | €69 – €220 | 15+ courses within 17 km, all-inclusive golf hotels, winter golf |
| Bulgaria (Black Sea) | €70 – €100 | Low fees but few courses and a short season |
| Cyprus | €45 – €100 | Good value; small number of courses spread out |
| Portugal (Algarve) | €40 – €200+ | Many courses; hotels and meals add up |
| Spain (Costa del Sol) | €39 – €600 | Huge choice; premium courses are expensive |
Why the full week matters
In most destinations you pay separately for every meal, drink and taxi. In Belek, an all-inclusive golf hotel covers food and drink, the courses are minutes apart, and a package includes transfers and tee times. For many golfers that makes a Belek week cheaper overall than a destination with lower headline green fees.
