The Old Course was designed by Bernard von Limburger, the 1925 German Golf Championships winner who became his country’s finest golf course architect of the time. With its wide fairways and large elevated greens, this championship course provides a challenge to golfers at all levels. Elegant and mature with spectacular views of the magnificent La Concha mountain, it is the perfect oasis of tranquillity on the otherwise bustling and vibrant Costa del Sol.
Its apparently benign parkland aspect with gently sloping fairways makes it an ideal course for the average club golfer - but plentiful bunkers filled with sparkling ‘marmolina’ sand, fast greens, lush vegetation and fairways lined with olive, pine, cactus and eucalyptus trees prove a challenge for single-figure players as well.
Atalaya New Course offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar and is seen as one of the most natural courses on the coast.
Created in 1990 by Paul Krings, the New Course is set further inland, but has a similar parkland feel about it - with gently undulating fairways and large, fast greens. It would be fair to say that, in general, hazards are obvious but still manage to trap the unwary. Care is needed off the tees and the wild hitter will soon encounter difficulties.
The New Course is rapidly catching up with the Old in terms of quality and in the summer months there are great bargains to be had for the holiday golfer.
Alcaidesa Links is the only links course in southern Europe, being an 18 hole, Par 72 course, inaugurated in 1992 and designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. The topography of the land at Alcaidesa is formed by gentle slopes descending towards the sea, finishing on a beautiful beach, creating a front of nearly 2 km. meaning that most of the holes are alongside the beach. The difficulty of the course lies mainly in the condition of the prevailing winds in the area. One of the special features of the course which most impresses visitors, is its spectacular view over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa. Its total length is: 5,866 m.
In 2011 Alcaidesa Links was included amongst the 20 best links courses on the European continent by the prestigious magazine Golf World
Many tournaments have been played at Alcaidesa Links, such as 2 PGA of Andalusia, in 1993 and 1994, 1 PGA of Spain in 1995, The Ryder Cup Junior Match U.S. against Europe in 1997.

This course offers a variety of natural scenery ranging from the plateau area (holes 1 to 5, 17 and 18) where the course is similar to a heathland, with wide fairways and outstanding views of the Mediterranean, to the valley area, where the holes meander along the valley and incorporate several water hazards. The total distance is: 6,373 m.
The layout of the course through this beautiful scenery provides an enjoyable test which is also equally fair, challenging and rewarding for golfers of all abilities. El Paraiso presents generous easy walking fairways set amongst palms and pines, oleanders and olives with meandering streams and two magnificent lakes.
Club selection is all important and a deft touch round the greens is essential to master the challenges presented. The par 71 course stretches from 4,998 for the ladies to 6,131 from the championship tees and plays host every year to the Andalucian PGA tour.

TheDriving Range is one of the best of Marbella. it has two independent practice tees with 15 places on each tee.
Designed by the prestigious architect Antonio Garcia Garrido the course is perfectly integrated into the environment offering spectacular views to Gibraltar and the Mediterranean.
The greens are very bounteous in size, on average 700m2, whilst one measures whopping 1000m2. Although undulating many of the tee shots are from raised plateaus, most a notably from holes 8 through 10 which will make or break many a scorecard. Then follows a strange stretch of three sequential par 3's, a temporary layout until the new clubhouse is finished. The par 3, 18th will require one of your best drives of the day to carry the water hazard depending on the day's tee position.
