Situated within the Morgado do Reguengo Resort, the hotel is just 5 minutes from the A22 motorway, 50 minutes from Faro International Airport, and within easy reach of Portimão’s beaches, marina and local attractions.

The hotel features 98 modern rooms, tastefully decorated with attention to detail and offering beautiful views over the Morgado Golf Course. The on-site Golf Clubhouse provides access to two 18-hole golf courses — Morgado Golf Course and Álamos Golf Course — along with driving range facilities, chipping and putting greens, a Golf Academy offering individual and group lessons, and equipment hire including buggies, trolleys and clubs.

Surrounded by traditional species of trees of the region, such as citrus and olive trees, at Morgado the player is immersed in a calm and serene Algarve, meeting the inner soul of this region that has so much to offer.

 

Located in a valley in the inland Algarve, between Portimão and Monchique, the Morgado Golf Course is challenging both to amateurs who are just starting out in the game and to highly-experienced golfers seeking to put their technique to the test. 

 

With 18 holes, this is a more open and easier course, with the features of a links course - with flat fairways and bunkers of Scottish inspiration – but, instead of being along the seaside as the traditional links, it's placed inside parkland.

 

This is a par 73 course but its length is attenuated by the generous width of the fairways. However, you may be penalised if your less successful strokes happen to land in one of the bunkers scattered around the course.

Despite its relatively short length, Alamos Golf Course is a challenging test for any golfer.
 
 
Affording splendid views over the Monchique mountains, lakes and farmland, the sensation here is one of being far from everything. This is a shorter course than Morgado Golf Course (Par 71), but it has all the necessary features to meet the expectations of the most demanding golfer. Rather than simply a test of your golfing skills, this course clearly demonstrates that man and nature can come together in harmony.

The Salgados Golf Course is located near Albufeira, within a protected, Natural Wildlife Reserve.

This setting provides golfers with a unique experience, since the course gives shelter, water and food to a number of bird species, some of them nearly extinct. The beach is within walking distance and the sea view from the course adds to this scenic golfing experience.


For beginners, the yellow tees provide an enjoyable game. For a more challenging game, the white tees make the most out for golfers with single number handicap.

Here, almost all the holes are flanked by lagoons and one (number 6) is considered one of the most difficult of the world, as it has a lot of water and is very long.

Holes 7, 8 and 15 are among the loveliest of the course (and region!).

For golf enthusiasts, playing in the yellow tees is a delightful experience.
